University of Michigan Parking & Transportation Services

The PTS Department provides parking and transportation services to employees, students, departments and visitors at the University of Michigan Ann Arbor campuses. We operate and maintain more than 27,000 parking spaces, operate campus bus service 360 days a year with over 60 buses serving 14 routes, lease and maintain a fleet of approximately 1,000 vehicles of various types and uses, and run vanpools and other alternative transportation options available to the campus community.

ArborBike Bike Share Program Now Live

ArborBike is Ann Arbor's new bike share program for the downtown and campus areas. ArborBike is owned and operated by Clean Energy Coalition, a non-profit located in downtown Ann Arbor. The program was developed in partnership with the University of Michigan, the City of Ann Arbor, TheRide, and Clean Energy Coalition as a three year pilot. The university is excited to introduce this program on campus and is the system's Title Sponsor.

ArborBike is set to soft launch on Thursday, September 25th with 6 stations and 45-50 bikes. In spring 2015, the system is expected to feature 14 stations and 125 bicycles. Active campus station locations include: Murfin & Hubbard; Murfin & Bonisteel; Zina Pitcher & Catherine; CCRB @ Washtenaw; and, Madison & State. An additional station is located along Library Lane downtown.
