Bus Routes and Schedules
University buses run 7 days per week year round, except for official University holidays which are:
- New Year's Day, January 1st, 2009
- Memorial Day, May 25th, 2009
- Independence Day, July 3rd, 2009
- Thanksgiving Thursday, November 26th, 2009
- Thanksgiving Friday, November 27th, 2009
- Christmas Day, December 25th, 2009
Additionally, buses run a Weekend service level schedule on Labor Day, September 1st, 2008 to accomodate student move-in.
Transit Bus Routes
Year Round
Commuter
Service to and from major parking lots with stops on South, Central, Medical, and North campuses. It operates Monday through Friday only. See the Northbound and Southbound Route Maps and Schedules for more details.
Northwood
Service between Central Campus and the Northwood Housing areas on North Campus. It operates Monday through Friday during the Fall and Winter semesters and Sunday through Saturday during the Spring and Summer semesters. See the Route Map and Schedule for more details.
Fall/Winter Only
Bursley-Baits
Service between Central Campus and Bursley Hall and Vera Baits Houses on North Campus. It operates Monday through Friday during Fall and Winter terms only. See the Route Map and Schedule for more details.
Diag to Diag
Service between North Campus Diag and Central Campus Diag. It operates Monday through Friday during Fall and Winter terms only. See the Route Map and Schedule for more details.
Northwood Express
Service between Northwood Housing areas and Central Campus. It operates Monday through Friday only on a limited schedule. See the Route Map and Schedule for more details.
North Campus
Service between Central Campus and all housing areas on North Campus. It operates Monday through Friday late nights, Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays. Note: on certain University Holidays, there is no bus service. Notice will be posted on this website. See Weeknight and Weekend Route Maps and Schedules for more details.
Oxford Shuttle
Service between Oxford Housing, Trotter House, and the main bus stop on Central Campus. It operates Monday through Friday only. See Route Map and Schedule for more details.
Medical Center Shuttles
Year Round
KMS Shuttle
Service between the KMS Building on South State Street and the Cancer and Geriatrics Center. Also serves the Taubman Center bus stops on the East Medical Center Drive curbside. It operates Monday through Friday only. See Route Map and Schedule for more details.
Mitchell-Glazier
Service between the Medical Campus and the parking lots at Mitchell Athletic Field and Glazier Way. After 8:15 p.m., service is provided by the Commuter. Serves the Veterans Affairs Hospital until 6 p.m. It operates Monday through Friday only. See the Route Map and Schedule for more details.
Mitchell Express
Service between the Medical Campus and the parking lot at Mitchell Athletic Field. This shuttle operates only during morning and evening rush hours. It operates Monday through Friday only.
UMHS Intercampus
Service between the North Ingalls Building, Medical Campus, Kellogg Eye Center, Wall St., Turner Senior Resource Center (on-call only), North Campus Administrative Complex, Green Road Park & Ride, Psychiatry on Commonwealth Blvd., East Ann Arbor Health Center, Arbor Lakes Complex, and Domino's Farms Lobbies A, G, & M (on-call only).
