Bus Routes and Schedules
University buses run 7 days per week year round, except for some exceptions on or around University holidays. When there are exceptions to the normal schedule, they will be addressed in a News item on the home page.
Transit Bus Routes
Year Round
Commuter
Service to and from major parking lots with stops on South, Central, Medical, and North campuses. It operates Monday through Friday only. See the Northbound and Southbound Route Maps and Schedules for more details.
Northwood
Service between Central Campus and the Northwood Housing areas on North Campus. It operates 7 days a week, year round, except for University holidays. See the Route Map and Schedule for more details. See this additional document for a list of weekend service gaps.
Fall/Winter Only
Bursley-Baits
Service between Central Campus and Bursley Hall and Vera Baits Houses on North Campus. It operates Monday through Friday during Fall and Winter terms only. See the Route Map and Schedule for more details.
Diag to Diag
Service between North Campus Diag and Central Campus Diag. It operates Monday through Friday during Fall and Winter terms only. See the Route Map and Schedule for more details.
Northwood Express
Service between Northwood Housing areas and Central Campus. It operates Monday through Friday only on a limited schedule. See the Route Map and Schedule for more details.
North Campus
Service between Central Campus and all housing areas on North Campus. It operates Monday through Friday late nights, Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays. Note: on certain University Holidays, there is no bus service. Notice will be posted on this website. See the Route Map and Schedules for more details.
Oxford Shuttle
Service between Oxford Housing, Trotter House, and the main bus stop on Central Campus. It operates Monday through Friday only. See Route Map and Schedule for more details.
Medical Center Shuttles

Med Express
Connects Glazier Way (NC51) Lot and Orange Fuller Road lots to Medical Campus locations: Cancer Center, Taubman Center/UH and Mott/M-22. Replaces Mitchell Express and Mitchell-Glazier inbound. Return trips should be made on Commuter North route buses. See Route Map and Schedule for more details.
Research Link
Connects NCRC and Biomedical Engineering Building to Medical Campus. Provides service to/from NCRC (NC100) Parking Structure and NC90, NC91 and NC78 lots. See Route Map and Schedule for more details.
UMHS Intercampus
Service between the North Ingalls Building, Medical Campus, Brehm Tower, Wall St., Turner Senior Resource Center, North Campus Research Complex, North Campus Administrative Complex, Green Road Park & Ride, Commonwealth Building (on request only) and Michigan House (on request only), East Ann Arbor Health Center, Arbor Lakes Complex, and Domino's Farms Lobbies A, C, H & M.
