Garage Services

Transportation Services Garage maintains and services a fleet of 1000 automobiles, light trucks and vans owned by the University of Michigan. We have a staff of 9 mechanics, including one auto body specialist.

To schedule routine maintenance or report a problem or accident with a leased vehicle, please call (734) 764-2490.

If a problem or breakdown occurs on the weekend or after normal hours, please call Public Safety at (734) 763-1131 for assistance. Any repairs must be authorized PTS - Transportation Garage.

If an accident occurs with a University vehicle, UM Public Safety or the local police should be notified immediately. Please complete and submit the accident report located in the glove box of the vehicle, or download it here and submit it.
